KOBU's mission is to make delicious, nutritious, Asian-inspired treats convenient and prevalent. Inspired by our founder, Naomi's, difficulties finding the food of her half-Asian heritage while growing up and living in the South, Naomi began experimenting in her home kitchen with Asian ingredients and flavors that she missed, and KOBU was born. With KOBU's warm mochi cake cups, you can experience a taste of Asia anywhere you live.
Our microwaveable mochi cake cups, ready in seconds, feature mochi’s beloved soft and bouncy texture. Handcrafted in small batches in the USA, we use clean, gluten-free, plant-based ingredients with no added sugar, seed oils, or artificial dyes. Committed to sustainability, KOBU sources ingredients responsibly and packages our treats in plastic-free, recyclable, and compostable cups. Each year, KOBU allocates a budget to support nonprofits dedicated to women, Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, and animal welfare.
